I have had my Millermatic 140 unit for a little over a year now, and it gets used more than my much larger Miller 250 220 volt. I can weld as small as I want to 1/2″.

    It’s rated for 3/16′s.

But if you know what your doing, 1/2″ is no big deal.

This guy can plow along like the baddest units out there.

You also need to go to welder supply to get bottled gas mix for it.

Not cheap, but there’s no way around it unless your going with flux core.

Then you also need the electronic mask.

Grinders, clamps, safety equipment, safe storage high on a solid cart.

I always forget to make a video for items here.

So next project with this guy gets a video of 1/2″ steel for those that have no clue.
